Our University's Legal Consultancy is a main service unit established in accordance with Article 51 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and Articles 26 and 35 of the Decree Law No. 124 on the Administrative Organization of Higher Education Institutions and Higher Education Institutions.

Our unit is obliged and authorized to represent the University in judicial and administrative authorities and to protect and defend its rights in disputes between our University and third parties and institutions. In addition, our Unit also provides consultancy services within the University on all other legal matters.
 

The majority of the services provided consist of lawsuits and enforcement proceedings carried out in judicial and administrative jurisdictions. Within the scope of consultancy services, preparation of laws, statutes, regulations, circulars and similar drafts and proposals requested by the Rectorate or expressing opinions on them, providing opinions on protocols, contracts and similar drafts and other legal issues to which the University is a party or sent by the Council of Higher Education and other institutions. activities are carried out. In addition, our Unit; By closely following the laws, statutes, regulations and other legislation, it helps the University to be instantly informed of the changes and developments in the field of law.
